LBS students did well this past spring, scoring above the national average at every grade level on annual Stanford Achievement Test. As a whole, LBS students scored 13 months ahead of their peers academically.

From K-5 to 12th grade, students did well. For example in Kindergarten, the 27 students tested as a class in the 86th percentile nationally, that means in the top 14% across America. Moreover, more than half of these students tested in the top 10% nationally in the core subjects of math and reading with a grade equivalency of second grade-second month (2.2). In addition, nearly 1/3 of these students were in the top 5% of our nation in these areas. On the other end of the spectrum, our 12th grade did outstanding as well. The LBHS senior class as a whole tested in the top 20% nationally, with 15 students placing in the top 10% nationally, and 6 seniors placing in the top 5% in America on SAT’s. One interesting statistic to note, the students who placed in the top 10% nationally spent an average of 11.2 years at LBHS. These amazing results are a product of engaged and faithful parents, dedicated and qualified teachers, a time-tested comprehensive curriculum, and a school administration committed to Christ and Committed to Excellence! We are grateful to our Pastor for his passion and vision for Excellence in Christian Education. Our priorities are simple…help students to grow spiritually, academically, socially, and physically for the glory of God. May we continue to strive together as we strengthen our families, church, and nation for the Cause of Christ.
