Better To Build A Boy
When we read in the Scripture of men who have turned from their sinful path to run to the Savior, we can (and should) become very excited about their decision to reconcile with their Father. Luke 15 provides a beautiful picture of a man who chose to ruin his life, eventually finding himself eating hog slop. To be there to watch him run to his Father’s waiting arms would have been amazing. However, how much more picturesque would it be to watch a young boy daily nurtured in the Word, never needing to “learn from experience” that a path of sin leads to the pigpen? Lancaster Baptist School desires to join hands with families who have determined to put God first in every aspect of their lives. Families who do so have the opportunity to teach Biblical principles in their home, at their church and in their school. The home, the church and the school then become “a threefold cord (that) is not quickly broken.” – Ecclesiastes 4:12 For it is much better to build a boy than to mend a man!
