In January, the Lancaster Baptist School Varsity Eagles participated in the West Coast Winter Classic, a national basketball tournament for Christian schools from across the nation, hosted by West Coast Baptist College. This year we had nearly twenty schools from across America. Some teams came from the East Coast, the heartland, the South East, and even Hawaii. Hundreds of students stayed on campus to participate in games over a four- day period. LBS was excited to play many of the competing teams, winning by one point in the semi-finals, and eventually wining the national tournament by one point on Friday night. We are thankful for the opportunity to teach and train Christian young men to be servant-leaders who are self-disciplined and develop godly character through Christian athletics. May the Lord continue to be glorified for many years to come by the LBS Eagles sports program.
